Double-Blind Peer Review

Double-Blind Model

Peer Review Process

This workflow is structured using a Double-Blind Peer Review model (where the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept hidden from each other), which is the gold standard for maintaining the objectivity and quality of scientific manuscripts.

1

Manuscript Submission

  • Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal management system.
  • The system automatically logs the manuscript's metadata.
  • An acknowledgment email is automatically sent to the authors.
2

Initial Screening

Conducted by the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor to screen suitability:

  • Focus & Scope Alignment with journal's vision.
  • Turnitin Plagiarism Check (must be below 15% - 20%).
  • Formatting Template, structure, & language review.
3

Reviewer Assignment

  • Selecting the right reviewers is crucial for constructive feedback.
  • Minimum of 2 reviewers with aligned track records are selected.
  • Invitations containing the title and abstract are sent.
4

The Review Process

Reviewers deeply evaluate using a standardized review form:

  • Originality: Are there novel findings?
  • Methodology: Is it valid, logical, and justifiable?
  • Results: Does the data support the conclusions?
5

Editorial Decision

Based on recommendations, the Editor issues a decision:

Accept

Accepted without any further revisions.

Revisions

Minor or Major revisions required (requires Round 2).

Decline

Rejected due to fatal flaws or out of scope.

6

Author Revision Phase

  • Authors revise strictly according to the provided review notes.
  • Return the revised manuscript promptly within the deadline.
  • Must include a Response to Reviewers document detailing all corrections made.
7

Copyediting & Production

  • The final approved manuscript is prepared for publication.
  • Thoroughly correct grammar, punctuation, & house style.
  • Laid out in PDF/HTML formats and published in the issue.
