Violence Against Women in Mona Lisa Smile Film

Abstract

This research aims to analyze forms of violence against women in the 1950s. This research uses a feminist analysis approach. The results of this research found that there are several types of violence found in women, whether the women themselves are aware of it or not. This violence takes the form of psychological violence and physical violence. Psychological violence is already at the level of a woman's unconsciousness in identifying that she is experiencing violence.
